This year, to celebrate the Truffle season - The Haven Lounge will be serving a delectable Truffle High Tea. A perfectly balanced selection of sweet and savoury treats infused with only the best black truffles produced in W.A. Paired with a selection of beverages from their Jing Tea selection, Five Senses Espresso House Blend or if you prefer to celebrate the day, a glass of Chandon Sparking Wine or Moët & Chandon Impérial Champagne.
My sister and I had the pleasure of experiencing the amazing vegetarian option of The Truffle High Tea with a glass of Moët & Chandon Impérial champagne and I honestly cannot recommend it enough. Taking in the relaxing atmosphere, sipping on some bubbly, and tea and devouring edible works of truffle art is really an experience in itself. The menu included four savoury bites including a cucumber sandwich, a mushroom truffle tart, an egg brioche and pumpkin with goats cheese on the bottom, on top was a scone with truffle chantilly and fig jam and the middle featured sweet treats including an apple + yoghurt tart, cherry and tonka bean roulade, truffle opera cake and truffle, valrhona opalys nameleka peppercorn. Absolutely exquisite.
