It was an absolute honour to be part of the official opening of Ritz-Carlton Perth. We celebrated with drink(s) in hand at their beautiful Songbird Bar and Lounge. It was a sweltering 38° day as we arrived at the incredibly grand Ritz-Carlton lobby. We were welcomed by the friendly team and directed to Songbird on Level 5. As we entered, the lounge was buzzing. As you can image - the beautiful space was styled with timeless, classic luxury interiors. We headed to the outdoor space that features a very inviting pool for the Summer, a fireplace for the crisp Winter evenings and an outdoor lounge area with incredible views over Elizabeth Quay and the Swan River.
We enjoyed refreshing cocktails from their Aperitivo menu including Rosella: Adelaide Hills Rosé, hibiscus, Geraldton wax Native Plum Negroni: The West Winds Cutlass, Italian bitter, Adelaide Hills Red Davidson plum coulis, Salt & Earth: The West Winds Sabre, fluffy pink grapefruit, citrus salt as well as being one of the first to try the beautiful Songbird Cocktail. I was also very impressed with the number of vegetarian canapé options throughout the event including the most delicious mushroom gnocchi, cucumber with feta and chocolates as well as their healthy grazing table.
Ending the evening on a high - we were spoilt with a gorgeous golden sunset over the Swan River. A truly magical way to celebrate the arrival of Ritz-Carlton Perth as well as the incredible developments of our beautiful city, Perth.
