If there is one daily make up routine I absolutely cannot skip it would be attempting to achieve flawless brows. Unless it's 2AM and I have to pick my mum or dad up from the airport - I 100% need to put on my brows. I just prefer them to be evenly filled and naturally defined. #BrowsOnFleek
My daily brow routine generally consist of 4 items. Brow groomer, eyebrow pencil for definition and brow powder + brow brush to fill in. On occasion I will use a translucent brow gel to sculpt my brows and every few months when my brows are getting a bit bushy I will pluck only the strays to keep them clean and super defined.
Over the past few years I've tested out a few different brow products and brands including Motives Brow Kit $42, TMF Vegan Purebrow Pencil $32, Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wiz $38 and Rimmel 'Brow This Way' Styling Gel $12.95. I recently ran out of the Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wiz - which, I have to admit that it didn't last very long at all.. only about 3-4 months max, used daily. Prior to that, I was using the TMF Vegan Purebrow Pencil in Nina and I loved it plus, it lasted so long - almost a year! I've also been using the Motives Brow Kit for quite a few years (purchased two) so it has lasted me a long time. The dark brown powder suits my brows perfectly so it has definitely been an all time favourite.
I love trying out new brands - just to see how I go with them and recently came across the Le Sourcil Crayon Eyebrow Pencil, $34 at the Claremont Quarter Mecca Cosmetica Store while I was shopping for a belated birthday gift. I purchased it since I had run out of eyebrow pencil but, what also caught my eye was the beautiful packaging - I am a sucker for anything aesthetically pleasing. I've only just started using it and I love it already! It's a workable products so i can create a lighter or darker look for day or night. Fingers crossed it lasts me a lot longer than the Brow Wiz.
For this look I'm using Le Sourcil Crayon Eyebrow Pencil, Motives Brow Kit, Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette, Dior Iconic Overcurl Mascara, MAC Matte Bronzer and Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo in 214 Message. For my skin I've applied Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face SPF30+ Facial Sunscreen.
