STAY WITH ME AT TRIBE

Staycations are such a great way to enjoy the little luxuries in your own city. I've loved the concept of it since I experienced my first one at Sage Hotel, two years ago. Of course, it's not always easy to find time to pamper yourself while working your butt off but, I'm hoping that this year - I'll have the opportunity to stay at more beautiful spaces in Perth.

As everyone was out celebrating the festive season - I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Tribe Hotel in West Perth.

I headed to the city after work to check-in around 4pm. There is parking just along the street which, is free between 6pm-8am. As you walk in, there are the cutest vintage bicycles parked out the front for guests to use. The lobby-lounge is one of my favourite parts of the hotel - the architecture and interior design of the space is just incredible. I would consider the style to be modern-luxe, with the use of very statement pieces - think marble tables, velvet emerald green lounges, a mix of moon lights with gold details and neon lights as well as a mixture of bright colours and patterns that you think would clash but, actually compliment each other really well.

Service was very friendly and efficient and, in no time - I was on level 8. The room is on the cosy side but, also very functional - it's perfect for a short stay but if you pack a lot like me or if you're planning to shop up a storm - don't worry as there is storage in the wardrobe as well as under the bed! I love that the room is designed to be quite simple so that you spend more time downstairs enjoying the lounge area although to be fair the view from the room, is just stunning. After checking in, I got ready to meet my beautiful friend Lisa for a pre-Christmas date at my favourite spaghetti bar, Francoforte which, was just a six minute drive away, afterwards we headed to Forrest Chase to window shop but, of course we picked up a little something from Mecca and Myer. We then headed back to the hotel for a glass of white.

Wilson arrived just as Lisa headed home and we headed up to relax before watching 'A Star is Born'. Ok, maybe I'm a little biased as I love Lady Gaga but, I loved every single minute of the movie and would 100% watch it over and over again (and Kim Kardashian cry at the ending every time). It was amazing. We woke up bright and early the next morning to a gorgeous view city view. After washing my face, I always start my day with the Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 50+ from Iconic Medispa which, I've been using religiously since purchasing at the beginning of December. It's a light, non-greasy formula that gives you a beautiful dewy glow throughout the day.

We were so excited for the buffet style breakfast at the incredible lobby/lounge on the ground floor. The food and drinks was so delicious - fresh fruit, juice, delicious pastries, eggs your way and a cup of coffee really hit the spot. And let's not forget their incredible croissants! Bellisimo!

Love,

E
